Experimenting with the Matrix effect

I'm not sure what this technique is called, but over the weekend I gave it a go.

Basically it involves having the subject stand as still as possible (which isn't easy on a windy day) and taking a long exposure so the people (and anything else moving) around the subject appear blurred.

First time I've tried it, and I'm not completely happy with the results, but I still quite like them.  It's something I'll be returning to in the future to try again.

We did the shoot outside Croydon train station and the subject of the shoot is Jorge from www.allieddetectives.co.uk.
